Carrie founded Synergy HR Group with over a decade of human resource experience. She is a knowledgeable human
resources practitioner with an extensive generalist background. Prior to founding the organization, Carrie worked in executive recruiting, healthcare education, professional services, and pharmaceutical distribution, with companies such as Lamalie Amrop International, the Association of American Medical Colleges, Weber Shandwick Worldwide, and McKesson, a Fortune 100 company. Carrie is adept at creating and implementing company-wide programs including staffing and retention, orientation, mentoring, performance management, career development, employee attitude surveys and employee policy and handbook development. She has designed and delivered management skills workshops in supervisory skills, interviewing skills, employment law, compensation, EEO/AA, sexual harassment, reasonable suspicion, and drug-free workplace. Carrie has facilitated group decision-making processes, teambuilding and strategic planning workshops. Her article “Group Development: Tools Practitioners Can Use” has been published in OD Practitioner Magazine. She holds a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification and is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University, where she earned her MS degree in Human Resources and Organization Development. Carrie lives in Sammamish, WA with her husband Jamie and son Chris.
